You know what speed you want to balance at, but you're not sure what frequency to set your drive at.  With Dynamics Research's Balance program you can set your balance mode to "Direct Measure" for real time raw readings.  This will allow you to slowly increase the frequency until your desired balancing speed is reached.  Then switch back to your chosen balance type.  There is no need to stop the piece first, just click "Start Balance."
